You might want to consider using the BackgroundChanger script.  It enables you to choose a picture to have as the background to your contact list and provides the same effect as lots of skins.

Currently there are very few new skins being made and even fewer requests being filled.  This is partly due to a decline in the skinning community and also due to the forthcoming Wave 4 and WLM 2010, with most people holding off on new skins knowing that this is around the corner
