I want to store the recordings of calls on my Google Drive folder for later reading remote recordings.
I note with disappointment that the format of the recordings, MP3's, and that Google Drive is not supported for reading this format.
What better way to achieve my goal?

Store them somewhere else.

Otherwise, store them on Google Drive, but when you want to play them you need to download them again.

Nothing you can do about that. The viewer on Google Drive is only for stuff which can be 'viewed', not for stuff which you need to 'hear'.
