how can a modify my avatar, by making it animated? without redoing the picture?
because i didn't make the picture, i had it custom made for me.

Well, I think it depends on what kind of animation you want...

You could probably load the current image in a graphics editor and apply some effects or add some things... your options will be limited though, by the small size/quality.

i'll i really want to do it make my name animated somehow

you could load it into an image program (e.g. fireworks) and make 9 frames, or 10 if u want the underscore animated, and just make a colour fill for each, or something along those lines...

what's this "fireworks" program that your talking about?

Fireworks is a design program by macromedia, it does animations, and graphics, its a useful program, its sort of like, Photoshop or Paintshop, except less professional.

i sound like a salesman O_o

But Photoshop is way easier to use....
