O.P. Huh?  HELP! (error, only with Plus! installed)
Okay, I downloaded Messenger Plus && after that it says MSN messenger has an error.  At first I thought it was just my MSN messenger && not Messenger Plus, but then i tried uninstalling Messenger Plus, but then MSN messenger works perfectly.  What's wrong?  At one point MSN messenger worked perfectly with Messenger Plus, but then the next day when I turned on my comp the error messeage poped up again.  Someone plz help me =/

well I have the latest verison of MSN mesenger && plus.  The error says messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sry for the inconvenience.  It then says to either send error report the microsoft or the don't send.  I don't really kno how else to describe the error.  When I restart my computer it sometimes works but then when i turn it off and turn it back on the next day, it doesn't work.  I don't have any plug ins.

When you get that dialog, there should be an option to view more details. If you do that and tell us what the module name is, we can try and track down the error.

Always try to state the exact and complete version numbers (major.minor.build). "the latest" is not specific enough. eg: there are more then 3 "latest" versions of msn messenger, a latest for 7.0, for 7.5, for 6.2, then there are "latest" versions depending on OS, etc...

When filing a bug report (or ask for help) always at least state:
- the exact and complete version number of Messenger (in the form of x.x.xxx)
- (and for some cases, even state the language you're using for msn messenger)
- the exact and complete version number of Messenger Plus! (in the form of x.x.xxx)
- Your Windows version and Service Pack number

Version numbers can almost always be found in the "about" dialogs of software. For MSN Messenger, this is the menu "Tools > About". For Messenger Plus! it is "Plus! > About", etc...

;)

Indeed, or even better take a screenshot and attach that screenshot to a post in this thread

--------

EDIT: "MSN messenger: 7.5" is not an exact complete version number either.

RE: HELP! (error, only with Plus! installed)
I'm having the same problem. I'm using MSN Messenger 7.5.322, Messenger Plus! 3.62.146 and WinXP SP2. No Plus! plugin is installed. The error message says the module name is entapi.dll. I've already tried many other combinations of different versions of Plus! (3.61, 3.60) and MSN (7.0, 7.5.311) but none worked. Actaully I've just formatted my drives and installed a clean copy of WinXP two days ago. There were no problems before that. When I'm using MSN 7.5.322, the error message pops up before the MSN main window is displayed, but when I'm using 7.5.311 it pops up about one second after I press the sign in button. MSN works completely fine without Plus!. Any ideas of solving the problem would be appreciated.

Thank you!
