I just recently got rid of the newest version of windows live messenger essentials. I hate it, I can't stand it, and so I deleted everything off of my computer, anything MSN related because I didn't know how to properly get rid of it at the time. So I re-started, and downloaded Windows Live Messenger 8.5. And then went to the site and downloaded the current Plus! Live. But it doesn't work. Why not? >_< I need some help please. I really want the plus! live back. x_x

As i understand, now you have version 8.5 and latest version of messenger plus! live. Messenger 8.5 is woking but plus is not.

Right? latest version of msgPlus!live is compatible with 8.5.By reading your post, i got impresion that most probable reason for msg plus! live not woking, is bad uninstallation of previus version of messenger or msgPlus! live.

Please provide more info ( ie versions of msn/msgplus!live you had, how did you uninstalled ) and any info that may be relavent.
