O.P. Weird...MSN+ seems to make my friends not hear the "new message chime".
Here's the deal.  My friend doesn't hear the little chime when you send a message.  When I uninstall MSN+ and send a message, he does hear it, but when I reinstall it, he stops hearing it again.  Why is this, and can I do anything about it?

If it helps, the friend in question has a VERY old version of MSN...I have the newest and MSN+3.

NEWS: It's gotten to the point where I'm going to uninstall MSN+ unless something can be done to fix the problem.

It won't be Plus. It cannot affect your contact's MSN whatsoever. Get your contact to upgrade their MSN (recommended anyway for security reasons).

Messenger Plus! doesn't work like this, I can't see personally how it could be related. Does your friend use Messenger Plus? Also are you sure he uses an old version of MSN Messenger and not Windows Messenger? And by old version what version do you mean, v5, v6.0, 6.1?

You are not referring to MSN Plus, you are referring to Messenger Plus! created by Patchou. MSN Plus! is a service owned by Microsoft...below are the links so you can inspect the difference
