That is the sound of one box cracking. The Saturn Expedition Committee reports a successful writing, compiling and executing of the first homebrew code on the PSP, compiled with the ps2dev chain. They’ve released the app for download, though as noted it will only run on PSP 1.0 firmware (American PSPs shipped with version 1.5) for now.

Hey i have PSP i have been doing alot of reserch and found out why you cant play homebrew on firmware version 1.50 and 1.51
so here it is sory if this is a bit confusing:

Ok PSP firmware version 1.00 (Japan PSP) dose not need an encripted password to play UMD and Homebrew but PSP version 1.50 and up dose witch all UMD games have and Updates have aswell.

So why dont we just hack the enecpition? well current technogy cant hack 128 bit encrpitions as far as i know (im not a password hacker) so we will just have to wait till someone finds a bug that can be exploted in the PSP

Sory if you dont understand this but most PSP users should
