Datel has released information on their upcoming 4GB Hard Drive X2 Battery bundle for the PSP. the drive apparently replaces the Memory Stick slot, essentially doubling the storage capacity of the PSP. The hard drive bundle will include the company's X2 battery and the Get Connected Media Cable and it’s media software. The package is expected to ship on October 20 at a price of around $250.

Hey man thats cool. I might get one when i get a new lcd for my psp oh well. Damn no more homwbrew for me ehhhh

surely replacing the whole of the memory stick drive is a bit ott for double memory? the removable nature of memory sticks can be quite handy. i'd wait a bit longer until either the hard drive can be increased or bigger memory sticks are available. however the other stuff looks nice .

somewhere else on the dark plannets website it sais "Reports suggest that memory sticks of sizes up to 8 whole gigabytes will soon be available – that's enough for several full-length feature films!"

so is there really any point spending £250 ?

Would be useful if i could afford a PSP...

^ so it looks as though the hard drive WON'T replace the memory card drive! which is good, and therefore £250 = good .

lol, i'm just bluffing, i don't have a psp, nor do i have money for one. my friend's mum has relatively low income so he gets an education maintenance allowance of £30 pound a week, and has just bought a psp! it's a strange world.
