Hi all, wonderin if anyone can help me?

I had an important chat session a few days ago, and it turns out that the save feature on my messenger was actually turned off and i know the other party does not record their message. Is there any way to retrieve previous messages in messenger? It would mean a lot if you could help (Version 7.5. by the way)
