Hi,

It’s possible to make the built in MSN messenger ‘message history’ option in setup menu Options unavailable?
I think about a patch the files or any other way to make the option "Automatically keep a History of my conversations" unavailable, after that nobody can't activate this option.

Technically, yes it is possible - via a patch/ hard or soft.
However, I have a different solution: set the path MSN uses to record logs to a read-only folder

Set this Folder to read only, I get this error message after close the conservation windows.

I think better is a Patch, i found this in msnmsgr.exe

If it's possible, can anybody write me a patch?
I haven't any tools and no knowledge how to make it.

I thought patching msn messenger's exe's isnt exactly legal

TBH, I expected that. Still, it's better than nothing.
