hi again...

what i'm dealing with is that due to some sata/ide drives non co-operation all of my previously stored data is marked as 'read-only'... whenever i change the attributes it shows the progress and everything seems to be okay, but when opening the properties again the 'read-only' attribute is selected like it was never changed...
any ideas for anomalies like this?..

Which files are you trying to change? System ones or just documents/etc?

everything but system files... docs, images music and so on basically...
