Is there any plugin/program that allows u to chose a sound every time u get a message on msg. Like Trillian It plays a sound for u everytime u get a message. I find if u have the chat window open and your not paying attention or whatever or u leave the comp u dont even know u have a message unless u look to see if someone has messaged u.

doesn't msn already play a sound?

if it's too quiet just change one of the sounds in c:/program files/msn messenger or where ever you installed msn messenger

There isn't any plugin or addon yet which will do that.


However, if you're up to it, you can make this out of the Bot Developers Kit plugin (which requires the .NET library though). The Bot Developers kit is a plugin DK for Messenger Plus!.

Or, if you are really serious you can of course write your own plugin for Messenger Plus! or even your own addon for MSN Messenger to intercept messages when they are recieved (which is not as easy as it sounds though).
