sure it is clear enough. 

i know what you are trying to say though, i'll try and search about it or somthing because im wondering about how to get pictures to show up in the contact info.

Basically its in the ipod under
Extras > Contacts > Intstruction (or whatever contact you choose)

and at the top theres a place for a portrait


also i have another question, i drag the album artwork over the spot that says "Drag album artwork here" and it adds it to that, in itunes i can see the new album artwork for that song. but when i play the song on my ipod it doesnt show the art work.

However when i play songs i've baught, it does show the artwork

Edit:

I found when i dragged the artwork onto the ipod on my dads computer instead of mine, that it worked perfect.

so if theres a way to make my itunes do that then please tell me

Sync your ipod to itunes and your album artwork should appear.
