I've recently installed Messenger Plus! Live, and there is a function that i can't find. I hope someone here can help me.

In the onld plus! there was a function that could shorten the names that someone has in the chat screen. Like when a names is like really long you could make it shorter. Is this function still in Messenger Plus! Live, if so where is it because i can't find it.

I think you mean the rename contact feature. This has been removed as it is now possible in WLM.
