How can I change the default status in WLM? Mine is set to offline but I really did not do anything at all that could trigger that. Now, I know it's just a click away, still it's very annoying.

Before you sign in, change the status in the dropdown.

I don't think so, when I click the WLM icon it signs in automatically and I have no choice before that, unless I choose to sing in manually which is not very practical. What I don't understand is why WLM is set to sing in in offline mode, that is my problem.

You should only need to manually signin as a different status once and then it will become default.

Then sign out, change the status, and sign in again.
