Is there anyway to validate windows XP. I remember seeing a way but someone commented that it ruined their computer. If there is please help me.

Validate as in Activate? You can do that either over the internet or by phone.

Validate as in see if the serial key is valid? You could try using MGADiag.exe - this won't necessarily show you if the key is valid, however it will show you if it will work with Windows Genuine Advantage.
