O.P. No sound on firefox, yes sound in IE
Hey for the past several, months I should say, I have had troubles with audio in firefox, I would get audio in it for about like half an hour, and then no audio would come from firefox, weather it be youtube, a flash game, or anything which can play sound in firefox, would not work. however If i enter that same url in IE, i get sound. After installing multiple versions of FF, i still get the same problem, works for an hour than mysterously stops. Any suggestions would help, thanks.

Both of these will use the flash plugin.

My advice would be to try and find a windows media player stream online http://video.msn.com should have plenty. If you do get audio that means the flash plugin you have in might have some difficulty, try playing in it's settings or re-install the "PLUGIN".

I had a look just now, and it all looked like Flash to me.

It runs on Linux that way, and the Linux fanatics don't want to beat Bill Gates over the head with a salty halibut as a result.
