O.P. Messenger Plus icon in main window won't appear

I'm using Windows Live Messenger 2009 final and Messenger Plus Live! 4.79b (latest beta released yesterday).

The main window won't show the Plus! icon if Messenger has been patched with A-patch. Reinstalling Messenger makes the icon appear again, but of course then it will be unpatched.

So A-patch and Messenger Plus Live! seem to have some kind of incompatibility at the moment.

This has been known as we beta-tested and Patchou's still investigating it.
