O.P. .ts movie editor.
hey everyone,

I recently got a Hauppauge HD PVR which is quite simply awesome! What is does is record 720p content to my computer. Thanks to Shawnz, I was able to set up everything properly, the only thing I'm wondering now is if someone knows a video software that I can use to edit and cut some parts of the .ts videos. I want to be able to cut some parts and hopefully make simple transitions.

Thank you!

Might be best to convert it to another format, then edit that.

I haven't converted or edited .ts files before, but after Googling, SUPER claims to be able to convert anything (including .ts) to any other format.

You could convert it to a file format which Windows Movie Maker supports, then edit the videos with that.

:zippy: Super is good, but not exactly needed for this :zippy: ((l) Chris4 (l))

AVIDemux

With avidemux you should be able to open the TS, and from there you can select parts you want to remove, etc. When you're done I suppose you'll want to save at as an MKV.

I've tried it. It does open the file, but when I press on play the audio and video are not synced, that's both with their "safe mode warning" or not.. Therefore when I try to edit the movie, I can't get a good glimpse of it.

Try VirtualDubMod with the appropriate codecs to open the .TS
