Hi,
Does anyone know how I can prevent the chatlogs (automatically generated) to be removed from the PC?
Another solution should be an automatically created duplicate of the chatlog.
Please help.

If you dont want the chat logs to be saved,
plus> preferences>logging. and disable from there...


i think this is what you meant.

No, I want the chats to be saved.
Afterwards I want the protection of my chat, so that anyone else on my pc can't remove the chatlog

Oh. Well, since theres been problems with encryption...i would try to hide the "my chat logs" folder, right click the folder and go to Prperties then check "hidden" then go to (top of windows explorer window) Tools>folder options>view> "hide all hidden files and folders"


hope this helps you...no one cna delete them if they cant see them

Everything can always be deleted/erased, just like everything else on your pc... The only safe solution is to backup your logs (on a CD-RW for example, and add the new logs each month)...
