Patchou,
You may not realise it, but LOP is actually spyware, albeit of the lesser variety. Much more importantly, please make it clear to Plus! users that they
must not use the "new_uninstall.exe" program provided at
http://lop.com/help.html#uninstall. Not only will it not reliably remove LOP, it
will install a trojan called "mp3search" or some such. The people at lop.com (Owned by C2 Media) are
spyware vendors, & not to be trusted.
You really should find another sponsor. LOP will be the downfall of your damn good program. It'd be such a pity.

U prolly made the most common mistake. That beeing not having ur internet browser fully closed (from systray also) whilst uninstalling, remember u can't uninstall what's in use
This is a bit tricky to accomplish; WinXP prevents you from shutting down iexplore.exe processes completely - they just respawn. I'm not sure about earlier versions of Windows, but XP is only going to get more widespread, up until Longhorn comes out. So it is
very hard to make sure the toolbar isn't in use.
Sincerly, Fred Greg.
