Hi all,

First off I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm getting desperate.

I'm having problems with Mindows Messenger, MSN and Yahoo Messenger.  It doesn't matter which one I use, everytime I start to use voice my ping goes silly.  Without voice running my ping is fine but as soon as I start voice I see my network usage (in task manager) go loopy.  I've looked at a friends PC and his connection usage stays really low but mine can be anything upto 30%.

Can anyone suggest anything?

If you have a slow connection, then everything sounds normal.

I have 1Mbit.

Well, all I can suggest now really is to make sure that all your drivers are up to date.
