When I'm chatting with an user named (e.g.)

Ralph - tha best

and I've given the custom name 'Ralph', in chat this appear:

Ralph - tha best  says:
   blablabla

Is it possible to show the emoticons in the chat? If yes, how? If no, why isn't it build-in?

No, this is not possible. It's a limitation. Simply put, when you use Custom Names, Messenger Plus! uses view by email and it replaces the email address of your contacts with your custom names for them. Because Messenger knows email addresses cannot contain emoticons, they won't be displayed.
