this is kind of a n00bish question but....what is gmails server called is it mail.gmail.com?
PS: I have about 6 gmail accounts to give away, if anyone wants one....

incoming server (pop) is
pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995


outgoing mail =
smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
