saving custom imoticons

O.P. saving custom imoticons
I have a few custom imoticons that I wanna save to floppy drive how do I do that?  the ones I have were actually given to me thru msn messenger and I added them.  Any help please?

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\<id>\CustomEmoticons

The <user> is your user name in windows and the <id> can be found with this attachment.

Btw, the files in the folder are .DAT files so can't be used to get the emoticon. If you want to use them on another computer say, you have to copy the files into the same directory for custom emoticons for a certain user. Then, you can use the emoticons in MSN.

There is also is a Emoticon and Display Pic Backup Wizard (works on MSNM 7 too) available on http://www.sherv.net/

This program converts them to their original file extension into any folder you want (so you can use them on any account you want, simply add em back into MSNM) ;)

Wrong, the emotes become accountbound. See CookieRevised reply to...

There named like TFR<number>.tmp or TFR<number>.dat
but actually they are just PNG's with the extension renamed...

May I just add that this is totally reliable, and not at all dangerous, nor does it carry spyware or anything. I know having had it on my computer for quite a while, and having used it several times. :)
