how to hide previous chat log in a new conversation

O.P. how to hide previous chat log in a new conversation
every time i start a new chat, the previous chat log will be shown first in the conversation dialog. i have tried to disable logging and even uninstalled the program, but it still shows up.

can someone suggest a way to NOT show the previous log? thanks

Make sure you have disabled the MSN Messenger 7 option to show your last conversation (somewhere at Tools > Options > Messages) :)

In MSNM: tools > options > messages .. under Message History turn off "show my last conversation..."
