All solution are available.
But I'm not a fan of creating pre-defined categories, because there is a moment when it is not possible with lot of sounds.

tbh, all sounds I've seen so far (and those are a few thousand) could be listed perfectly in one of the existing categories...

But to find a sound in particular among thousands it is pretty boring.

The solution can be also to assign keywords when you create a sound and create a search function to find the sound you look for.
