RE: firefox does work....keeps saying error
Tools > Options > General > Connection settings. Are you sure those settings are correct? You can compare them with your IE settings to be sure (if IE does work ofcourse ).

Well, if it's happening for just one specific page, it may be that the link is dead or the site is just down. Did you come to this site on Firefox or another browser? If it isn't for just one page, then yes, check your connection settings. Also make sure Firefox is allowed by any firewalls to properly connect to the internet.

i came to this site using internet explorer, because firefox won't load any pages, also opera seems to be doing the same thing.
