I was running Messenger 7.5.0311 and it was working fine. I could use the Handwrite feature. I installed Messenger Plus and now I get the message "To use the Handwrite feature, you may need to install or update software. For more details on enabling or hiding the Handwrite feature, click Help".

Well, I uninstalled 7.5.0311 and installed 7.5.0311 and it worked fine for handwriting. Added Messenger Plus and got the same error again.

Is there a workaround for this or do I just dump Plus?

Running WinXP Pro SP2 Fully Patched.

Isn't there a newer build? (it might not help you get your handwriting back though) *and I could be wrong... But I thought there was...*

mmm install the plus!, and later install ink redistributables , www.mess.be/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=download&...

That problem is very extrange, but..click in "help"

Ink will already be on the system.

See if you have the old Handwriting plugin installed, and if so, remove it: it's not needed anymore.
