Hey,

Umm, I want to have an auto reply for the emails i get on some specific email.

I know many servers have this as a feature, but i have one that doesnt.
I also know that there are several softwares that you run on your pc, which check the mails (or whatever) then send an automated reply.

But what i want is a script that i can install on my server, and it will do the job instantly upon receiving a mail.

Hmm doesnt gmail have something like that ?
Vacation responder could be modded for the purpose right ?

Well it is not to use for gmail, we have like 10 emails @oursite.com, and the hosting package i have doesn't have an auto responder , so i was thinking of installing my own.

make a php script to do it? , have a cron job which runs every so often have the php script check your inbox then reply to those people.

duh!!! lol who doesn't know how it works.

I mean do u have any suggestion for a free script.
