Hi,

Is it possible to switch to the large-style contact list that was available in 7.5? And does the contact list now only show the Green Guy instead of the contacts DP as well?

If you are talking about Windows Live Messenger click on the two green arrows in the contact list next to the search bar and tick show details.

IMO its too big, why can't they make it so that you can have the DP in the small "non-detailed" contact list? Its annoying when you have more than 150 contacts to traul through and their that size.

Anyone else agree or is it just me?

i thought that too. 7 contacts filled up my contact list

Oh yeah - show details = large details.

I agree that it's too big. The other option seems too small though.

And it seems they've also removed the (status) indicator after the nickname

I think the small option is fine just they need to put the DPs in (mayb slightly bigger but not by much)

I agree, I actually bugged this some time ago and the team closed it as by design.

I agree, I found it too annoying and I went back to 7.5. Hopefully they resolve the issue or someone can create a plugin to switch it.

why u want to use all details? O.o
You can only see than the pic, nickname, personale status and email.

that is not so important i think and than u search a user, use the search function i love it
