O.P. Blue Screen Error Help
Hi! I am using the new WLM and everytime I start the shared folder feature, few seconds after my system crash and I get the blue screen error, freezing the computer.
I also use WLM at work and there is no problem with the shared folders. Does anyone as experienced the same problem. Need help to find what is causing this.
Thanks in advance.
Cool!

RE: Blue Screen Error Help
When the computer bluescreens what is the Stop error code that is shown?

Something like 0x000000DE or something like that.

Start > Right Click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Settings for Startup and Recovery > Uncheck Automatically Restart on system error > Ok > Ok.

If it happens again it will show you the stop error code (write it down and hold the power button in or restart the pc). It may not happen tho Windows could just be finiky.

Ummm well firstly if they are installing WLM its going to be either FAT32 or NTFS including the fact that they are going to have Windows XP. This information isn't really needed so...

Well here is the adicional info:
WinXp Pro SP2; NTFS; WLM not patched and MP!L (both installed on the same day).

The error occurs only when I enable the shared folder feature in WLM and the sync starts.
The PC first freeze and then I got the Blue screen.
The error code is:
  *** Stop: 0X000000F4 (0X00000003, 0X8200DDA0, 0X8200DF14, 0X80604450)

When the Windows starts again after boot, I get 3 event log system error reports:
First:
BCCode : f4     BCP1 : 00000003     BCP2 : 81F0BAE8     BCP3 : 81F0BC5C
BCP4 : 80604450     OSVer : 5_1_2600     SP : 2_0     Product : 256_1

Second:
BCCode : f4     BCP1 : 00000003     BCP2 : 81ECB3C0     BCP3 : 81ECB534
BCP4 : 80604450     OSVer : 5_1_2600     SP : 2_0     Product : 256_1

Third:
BCCode : f4     BCP1 : 00000003     BCP2 : 8200DDA0     BCP3 : 8200DF14
BCP4 : 80604450     OSVer : 5_1_2600     SP : 2_0     Product : 256_1

I've already reinstalled WLM and MP!L.
Any help, thanks!
Cool!
