I installed about a week ago Windows Live Messenger v8.0787.
And till now I had no problems with it.

Now I installed Messenger Plus! Live v4.00.235.
The only changes that I did is:
* Added several External Emails (all were tested)
* Checked "Allow me to connect to several acounts simultaneously"
* Added one Personalized Status.

Now every time after I load my messenger, it crushes after 2-5 minutes.
I tried to remove some of my changes, but it sill won't work.


Error:
"Windows Live Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience."

seems like an error with your now playing plugin that comes with wmp11, try disabling it and then running messenger.

I had the same problem until I simply tried to upgrade to Live Messenger version 8.0.0792, which you can find at MsgShit.com or Live.com.

Or you could run a Repair with the WLM installer
