RAM...
ATM, i have 2x Samsung PC2 5300 in Dual channel.. I am going to get some more RAM soon, would they have to be Samsung PC2 5300 as well? Or can i go for a different brand/speed?

you can use other brands (not so sure about speed
), some RAM sticks perform better/faster with the same brands.... or so they say...

If you are having 2 different speeds then they are going to run at the speed of the slowest rate card you have.

If you get the same RAM module, it'll run in dual channel mode (provided your motherboard supports it).
There's no point buying RAM at a higher speed as it'll run at the speed of the slowest module.
