No, it's because the numbered list closing tag is, let's say, weird:

However, when you create such list using the format bar button, it won't add the ending "=1". So, I'd suggest WDZ to: (pick one or more from the following options)

• fix the format bar button function.
  
• fix the BBCode parser.

Never known about that...
The weird thing is if you copy and paste my message (with the wrong code) in the official forum of mybb, the closing tag seems to be ok, in fact the text is well formatted (to the very right!).
Maybe they have a newer version of mybboard and the one patchou uses is not so updated?!

Blah, don't blame Patchou...

This is a very old version of MyBB (released in 2004) that I've customized quite a bit. I plan to upgrade to version 1.4 as soon as I can.

(Hmm, I wonder when beta testing starts... ¬¬ beta.mybboard.net is giving a 403 error?)
