MSN freezes frequently

O.P. MSN freezes frequently

I'm not sure why, but ever since I installed the Msg+ addon I've been having issues with my messenger freezing. It will not appear to be frozen, and I will still receive messages, but when I click on the text box it locks up.
Any ideas?
