O.P. Huh?  Flashing Taskbar
Since I installed Messenger Plus! on WLM09, my taskbar no longer flashes orange when a contact sends me a message.

It still does this on startup telling that WLM has opened but not in a chat.

HOW DO I FIX THIS?

Any answers are greatly appreciated

Messenger Plus! Live is not yet compatible with the latest build of Windows Live Messenger 14 (sometimes named version 2009 or 9).

For more information on this, see Important news regarding Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live.

RE: Flashing Taskbar
For a temporary fix, you will have to disable tabbed chats, which will then have seperate windows which will flash when you receive a message. Alternatively, downgrade your WLM to a version compatible with Plus! and wait until Plus! is updated :).
