RE: How to replace the newest MSN to 2009?
I learned something interesting recently, and i don't know if it's ok to say here but on the windows live messenger forums a guy who much like me hates change some change at least especially change involving things like MSN. they told him of a way to get by with keeping the old msn, any version. this is what they said. if you still have the version you want to use install, don't update and go to the start menu, click all programs, click on the windows live folder, right click the messenger icon>then click properties> then click compatibility>then click on the thing that says 'run this program in compatibility mode for: windows XP service pack 3, I'm not sure if that setting applies for all. but it's what's working for me, my OS is windows 7 home premium, but in order for me to use an older windows live messenger I had to select the windows XP service pack 3 thing.
