I have MP! 2.52.72 version installed and I found that there are two language ini files for Brazilian Portuguese in the Resources folder: Lang_Brazilian and Lang_Portuguese (Brazil). But no one of them appear in the list under the option Use the following translation in the Language Selection dialog.

Any ideas on what is wrong? Thanks in advance.

Maybe they're old versions. Open them (with notepad) and check if there's a line (at the begining) like this one:
CompatibilityLevel=2072
I'm not seru of the number (2072) but it is something like that. If that number is less than 2072 the file is too old. You can view the right number at the file DefaultLg.dat

Both have 2042. The DefaultLg.dat is 2072.
But then there is another strange thing. I have the latest version at work and at home. Since Brazilian Portuguese is "always late", I adapted/translated the Portuguese from Portugal version (CompatibilityLevel=2070) and applied it at home, where I use WinXP --and it did work! Why doesn't it work at work, where I use Win98SE? SO issues?

It's saved in Unicode, that's why. Just save it as ANSI and you'll be OK on Win98.

Leif is right. Also, if you update a file, be sure you update also the CompatibilityLevel number:

Brazilian is not distributed since version 2.50 because it was not updated... when it will be, it wil be added back to the public distribution
