There is something about this program that some of you may not notice...But i run a pretty fast system and when i install Messenger Plus it makes a huge difference in performance, which is disapointing because i really like the program and after formatting my computer i am to afraid that something may go wrong again. And NO i do not install the advertising!!

My systems specs are:
p4 3ghz HT
2024MB (2gb) ram
2 x 120gb hdd's
geforce fx5600
Win XP sp2
Msn mess 6.2

If someone has any ideas that would be good if u could let me know.....

Plus! shouldn't affect your system performance at all, so there's something wrong going on there, probably it's because of an application incompatibility. What other programs are you executing?

Well...i have running Outlook express, HDTV, and virus software they are the main apps that i have running most of the time. I will try and install this new one and see what happens i just hope  it doesnt stuff anything!

I highly doubt msgplus is causing a problem here, what programs seemed to be slowed down after u "supposedly install it and it ruins everything"

Try closing all your programs and disabling your antivirus software, then start Messenger and check.

Does your computer speed up after shutting down Messenger Plus! ?
If it doesn't it can't be Messenger Plus!

@Chestah: Not that format C:/ will work if the system is installed on that drive (Well... it doesn't here )

It only works when you have direct access to the disk.. meaning, boot from DOS and you can easily reformat "the drive where your system is installed on".
