O.P. Logging Conflict

I just installed Plus, and I've noticed a problem with logging.

I disabled all logging in Plus as I'd rather just use the basic MSN 7 logging feature.

However, since installing Plus the MSN 7 logging doesn't seem to be working correctly.

I opened a conversation window only to find that it has not logged anything since I installed Plus last night.

So, I went back into Plus and enabled the logging option, and it seems to work again now... however it takes a long time before the messages get logged - whereas before, simply closing and reopening the conversation window would show the last messages... now there is a delay of several minutes before they get added.

Why can't I just disable the logging features in Plus and use the built in MSN 7 logging without having these problems?

I just want it to function the way it did previously.

I have since discovered that if I open and close the message window several times, the history will usually appear.

Anyone know how to fix this?

RE: Logging Conflict
This is an issue in MSN Messenger (if it is an issue at all). Messenger Plus! does nothing to prevent Messenger from logging. As I currently don't have MSN Messenger 7 I can't give you more information about this, but as said, I do know that Messenger Plus! doesn't interfere with Messenger logging what-so-ever...

Actually, Messenger Plus is interfering.

MSN 7 logging worked fine before installing Messenger Plus, and reverts to working normally when Messenger Plus is removed.

Obviously, removing Messenger Plus isn't really a viable option seeing as I'd like to use it... so if anyone has a solution to this problem it would be most appreciated.

How can someone report bugs?

It seems no one here has seen this issue before.

I noticed that problem too, however, it does seem to be an issuewith MSN Messenger that is not related with Messenger Plus!... I'll investigate some more.

Thanks Patchou.

My logs are important to me... because I have a bad memory and sometimes can't remember what I said 5 mins ago. haha
So I really hope this can be fixed.

If you want any more info, or want me to try anything, send me an e-mail.
I only say that because it doesn't seem like anyone else is experiencing the problem.

This problem still exists in Messenger 7.0.0777 and Plus!  3.51.128.

Recent conversation history doesn't show up in the conversation window when you open it... it takes a while before it gets updated and appears.

This does not happen without Plus! installed.
