O.P. .bin files
I downloaded a file, it's a 280 Mb file, it's a setup file since it's not a movie or something, with the extension .bin
it didn't come with a cue file, so i created one, and opened it with the program burn at once, and successfully burned it into a cd, but when i open the cd it's empty , although i can see on the back of the cd that it has been burnt
i tried using nero to mount the image, but it said it was an unknow extension, also tried with winrar or winzip, could open it, any ideas ? thanks in advance

RE: .bin files
Try various different burning aplications to burn it, the trial versionl of http://www.alcohol-soft.com/ as one example.
And also please read forum rules before asking about help for illegal software!
Or if you really must want help, just don't say what the program is that you have that there, at least then we don't know it's warez!

Just because it's 280MB, doesn't mean it's warez. It could be a compact Linux distro for instance.

ok and about opening the file, i've tried everything ! UltraIso, daemon tools, nero, winrar, winzip, burnatonce, nothing worked ! maybe the file is damaged or something, but i doubt it, coz i downloaded it normally and everything was fine...

RE: .bin files
It's possible the file has been corrupted during download. When downloading files that size, it's always a good idea to check it's MD5 hash. If the site didn't provide one, then just download it again, turning off any download managers you have running.

RE: .bin files
The best program is WinISO http://www.winiso.com/ it opens all .BIN and .ISO which are both CD images, if this program does not open it then there is no doubt that the file you have is corrupt. Hope it helps you. If you can't download it Email me, and i will send you the program! Goodluck

What do you mean it doesnt work? You mean that you chose the file and what happened when you clicked on it?

RE: .bin files
More then likely yeah, download the file again, but don't be surprised if the file was corrupt before downloading!
