Whenever someone closes a webcam on MSN to me, i get this

and have to Ctrl Alt Del to close off MSN then restart it. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Did you try without running StuffPlus and without running Messenger Plus! completely?

I did yeh, it still seems to mess up though, it doesn't do it regularly but somedays its just every time and other times it can go with weeks without doing it. It's not always the same contact either.

I don't know if you remember but I made a couple of different threads about my webcam and file transfers making my MSN crash. The webcam issue was a bug in MSN itself - Microsoft had it up on their website for a bit. In terms of fixing the problem, I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling MSN only to find that it did absolutely nothing. About a week or so after having frequent crashes, everything went back to normal and I hadn't installed anything extra either*-)

RE: Death of the webcam...
try enlarging the window. I had a slightly related bug a few days ago, I was having a webcam convo with someone, and then I made the window as small as possible, but when she stopped viewing webcam, the conversation went even smaller, and because it was so small it made MSN crash. I couldn't open any conversations because the new size was defaulted to be so small.

I said that because the conversation window looks quite small. So if you resize the convo when they start webcam, don't.
