I don't know if this can be aksed here so I'll ask it any how.

I want to make a program to connect to the Gnutella network. But I can't seem to find a Gnutella server that works to connect to. I've tryed over 50.

I was just wondering how programs like Limewire and Bearshare connect. They both run off the Gnutella network and they seem to connect with no problem at all, and there fast!

Any one know of how I could connect or have any info on how these programs do it.

RE: Gnutella
So you want servers where you can download Gnutella peer info?

http://gcachescan.jonatkins.com/

Those are web caches, but I think those are being used more and more by Gnutella clients... :-/
