when i do disk cleanup..
theres this part that says "Compressed old files"
and its taking alot of space...
im just wondering.. if i should delete those.. but i also duno if i need those files...
im on window xp pro

I wouldn't advise deleting them. Depending on your settings, Windows will compress certain files if they haven't been accessed after a certain period of time. Just because they're old doesn't mean you don't need them.
After they're compressed they take up a significantly smaller amount of space... You shouldn't have to delete them... If you do look at each one first, and if they're out of the windows folder definately don't delete them, as their probably something needed for windows to work right.
