hi there
wen i sign in and click on the person i would like to talk to wen they say a message it has there email address insted of there actual name
can sum1 please help me
*plz note* i have chnaged the option so it dusnt do this but it wont work also uninstalling msn and Messenger Plus didnt fix it

In the contact list window, click contacts, manage contacts, view contacts by> display name.

or try disabling msgplus's custom names, as it necessary enables "view by email"

Sorry you are experiencing such problems but you can view your contacts by either by name or by e-mail. To chose your preference follow steps:

i)   Select Plus from your menu
ii)  Preferences
iii) Contact List
iv) Click the Custom Names (tab)
v) at the bottom select either by name or by e-mail

This has got absolutely nothing to do with the problem.

The option is only to sort the contactlist inside that specific preference window by email or by name to ease the selection of contacts, nothing more. It has no influence on anything inside Messenger Plus!, nor inside Messenger itself.
