With the recent upgrades on the messenger service, I have a lot of contacts and I'm now having problems identifying emails and contacts, i think it would be great to be able tu search an email address, contact name or by additional information just like Winamp song search feature (will search for anything that match with the string)

If i understand what you are talking about, the Windows Live Messenger already allowes you to search contacts Like type in name or number and it finds it ...thats what mine does anyway
If im off track here im sorry Try using contact clean up if you have to many contacts than what you want Im not sure if its in Messenger Plus 3 (cant memba) but i know its in Live

Yep, you can search any of the information about your contacts (email, display name, PSM (includes current playing track) and information you've saved about them in their contact info) by using the word wheel feature .
