before i got wmp 11, but it refused to install because i dont have genuine windows, so i tried to hacks to make it work, but it refused to run because it said that "bla bla 11.?.?.? was encountered where 10.?.?.? was expected". so i tried reverting back by uninstalling it, but it gave the same error. Then i used system mechanic to remove all of its components, then i try to install 10 but it says that there is a newer version of wmp installed. i try the same hacking metod but it says that "bla bla 10.0.0.3646 wasencountered where 10.0.0.3802 was expected" and the only version of wmp 10 i found was 10.0.0.3646, probably because then it gets upgraded through windows update to build 3802

how do i fix?

have you tried the add or remove programs thing?? go on add or remove progs, check 'show updates' then click click WMP and click remove... it will revert back to the last installed... not sure if this is what you did to try an revert back, but that *should* remove all of 11...

i already removed 11 so there is noting in add/remove programs
