O.P. Where has the /Clear command gone?
Hi all,

The subject explains it all.

If this command has been removed (which I think would be very stupid), then is there a script to do the same effect?

If there isn't one, are there any certain script commands that could achieve this? I suppose I could just write a script to close the window and re-open it, but that seems a bit over-the-top for a simple clear.

Thanks

It's gone. There was some difficulties with making it work.

And there is no current script for that task :)

Ok, thanks for confirming. I couldn't seem to find any topics on this at all, although I did search rather quickly.

I'll take a look into writing a script and see what I can achieve. I think I'll just close and open the window again. Might be more troublesome, but it'd be easier to have a command to do it rather than doing it manually (like I do at the moment if I want to clear).

Oh cool! Thanks for the info Patchou.

Shame I didn't read this before I wrote a script to do it. Hopefully you'll be able to improve upon it, though.

My script simply closes the window and then re-opens it. If anyone would actually be interested in that, just say and I'll upload it.

I just thought that it wouldn't solve the problem if you have Messenger set to show you the previous messages when you open a window, but it will work for those who hasn't. I find it quite handy already ;)
