Plus! Prefrences > Customize! > Event Notifcations > Started A New Chat (with this user only)

what does that do...? Alert you wen somebody opens a window to chat wit u? and can I use that with all my contacts?

No, it notifies you when YOU start a chat with someone else...

No, it notifies you when someone else starts a chat with you :P
I know: I did have this enabled way back, then I figured it was a bit useless since I use Messenger's own toasts too.
